NEUROTOXINS

Wrinkle-relaxing injections of botulinum toxin (commercially known as Botox, Dysport, Xeomin & Jeuveau) that are most commonly used to treat facial wrinkles, frown lines and crow’s feet. Injections are quick and painless with minimal to no downtime! Full results will be seen after just two weeks and typically last about three to four months.

Facial wrinkles become more prominent as we age. Wrinkles result from a combination of many factors including cellular changes that occur over time, reduction of collagen as we age, damage caused by free radicals in the sun and the environment, and repetitive movement with facial expression. There are many indications for neurotoxins; however, most commonly, injections with a neurotoxin are used to treat forehead wrinkles, deep furrows between the eyebrows (frown lines), and the rays at the corners of your eyes (crows feet). HYPERHIDROSIS

Hyperhidrosis is abnormally excessive sweating that's not necessarily related to heat or exercise. You may sweat so much that it soaks through your clothes or drips off your hands. Besides disrupting normal daily activities, this type of heavy sweating can cause social anxiety and embarrassment. Neurotoxins can be used to treat hyperhidrosis, or excessive sweating, by disrupting the messages your nerves send to your brain that instigate sweating. Frequently treated areas include the palms, feet, and armpits.

  • $10/unit - Treatments are customized to each patient in order to find your “magic dose” but below is an average estimate:
    Frontalis (Forehead):     Avg 10-20 units
    Glabellar Complex (Between Eyebrows): Avg 20-30 units
    Lateral Canthus (Crow’s Feet): Avg 4-15 units per side
    Masseter (Jaw): Avg 30-50 units
    Platysmal Bands (Neck): Avg 50 units

Q: How long until I see results?

  • Product will begin to set in and improvement will be notable within 3-5 days, however, maximum results will be seen 14 days post-procedure.

Q: How long does it last?

  • Results last an average of 3 - 4 months. With continued treatment, sometimes product may last 4 - 6 months. Individual results may vary.

Q: Are there any side effects/associated risks?

  • There can be side effects with any treatment you have done. Side effects from neuromodulators are usually minimal and temporary. They may include localized pain, inflammation, tenderness, swelling, redness, bleeding and/or bruising, or infection. An experienced injector will review all side effects and risks with you at your consultation and answer any questions you may have before the treatment is started.
