Mesotherapy/ KYBELLA (Weight Loss)

Mesotherapy & Kybella are both innovative, non-surgical alternatives to liposuction; with no incisions, downtime is minimal in most cases. This procedure uses a series of microinjections to target stubborn fat deposits and is intended for body sculpting of those stubborn body parts that are non-responsive to diet and exercise.

Kybella:

The active ingredient in KYBELLA® is synthetic deoxycholic acid. Deoxycholic acid is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. When injected into the submental fat beneath the chin (coined a “double chin”), KYBELLA® destroys fat cells, resulting in a noticeable reduction in fullness under the chin. Once destroyed, these cells can no longer store or accumulate fat, so further treatment is not expected once you reach your desired aesthetic goal. The most common side effects of KYBELLA® include swelling, pain, numbness, redness, and areas of hardness in the treatment area (these are not all of the possible side effects of KYBELLA®).

Mesotherapy:

Have areas of stubborn fat? Try mesotherapy. A minimally invasive treatment that targets problem areas via microinjections directly into the mesoderm. These microinjections use conventional, FDA-approved medications that shrink pockets of fat, reduce fluid accumulations, and tighten skin. The fat cells absorb the medication and become slightly inflamed and then harden. The hardened fat cells break down within a few weeks and are eliminated via the body’s natural processes. Frequently treated areas include submental fat (“double chin”), jowls, the upper and lower abdomen, upper back (“bra fat”), lower back (“love handles”), inner thighs, outer thighs (“saddle bags”), and the back of the arms (“bat wings”).
